Luxury hotel chain Sofitel Philippine Plaza has engaged the training expertise of VIC ALCUAZ for a series of ‘Service Excellence’ workshops this July and August in preparation for the grand re-opening of the popular Spiral Restaurant in September.
Spiral was affected by the flooding that occurred in the Bay area last October 2011 and was therefore closed. The hotel management decided it was time to fully re-create Spiral and once again re-open with a big bang! Spiral was the most successful hotel restaurant in the Metropolis since it’s opening in 2006 and consistently maintained it’s leadership until it closed in 2011.
Sofitel Director of Human Resources Espie Alvez has lined up a series of other programs for the 200 service and kitchen staff that will be carefully trained before Spiral’s re-opening including poise & personality, public speaking, basic French as well as the Sofitel Attitude.
