Carlo Gomez, a respected hotelier has been appointed COUNTRY GENERAL MANAGER of Fil-Archipelago Hospitality Inc.,  the new hotel management company fully owned by real estate giant Filinvest Corporation.

Carlo was General Manager for several hotels in Indonesia managed by the Aston Hotel Group since 2005 before this appointment.  Prior to his Indonesia assignment Carlo was the first General Manager of the Fraser Place in Salcedo Village, an upscale Service Residence in the Makati district.

Carlo has worked for big international hotel chains like The Regent, The Sheraton and The Mandarin and has over 30 years hospitality management experience.

As Country General Manager Carlo is tasked to open the Group's hotels and resorts throughout the Philippines starting with their triple-A resort in Mactan, Cebu called Crimson Resort Mactan.  Their next opening will be a 400 room businessman's hotel in the heart of Cebu City, fronting the Ayala Mall.  Scheduled opening is October 2010.
